Making of God
One more to the already large Pantheonwouldn’t do any harmPush her into the raging pyreof her imbecile husbandWhen it comes to godsthe more they arethe merrier for usLet the heavenward tongues of fireraise her to the celestial abodeClang the cymbals, beat the drums andchant in chorus the Great Nametill the voices go hoarseLest the desolate screams of the would-be-godreach heretic earsA gentle nudge into the fire,or, if need be,a firm whack in the rib cagewould only help speed upthe glorious journey to godhoodTill yesterday she was just a daughter,a sister, a other, a negihbourYoung and pretty she wassetting several hearts on fireThe flagrant pyre isbut a centaur with its wings aflutter, raring to transport herto the company of godsPious as we are,we could do with one more god,set the fresh widow aflame.

Indian Shayari (Poetry)
One of the most dominant and outstanding forms of poetry is Urdu Shayari. Also known as Urdu Sher O Shayari, it is a varied field of poetry that has many different aspects and colors. Each and every "sher" is a short couplet and usually rhymes. It portrays the meaning and beauty of life in a very subtle yet lovely way. The origin of Urdu poetry can be traced to the ancient Arabic and Persian forms of poetry. It forms an important part of our cultural heritage and is also called Indian Shayari. This form of poetry was very much prevalent in ancient times when Kings and Emperors used to have the best poets and writers in their courts. The language Urdu has the ability of breathing life into words. The couplets in Urdu can make one forget all tensions and relax completely. They are very emotional in nature and are a favorite among young lovers to express their feelings of love to one another. It is no less than an art and if expressed with the right feelings, it can make even the dullest day seem bright. Even though Urdu poetry evolved long time back, the exact time of its origin cannot be calculated. Also, it does not have a particular tradition and is largely influenced by Arabic and Persian forms of writing. Also, it was much influenced by major Urdu poets of India and basically was a mix of Urdu, Hindustani and Hindi. Even in the contemporary world, one can fin every major city holding Urdu poetry expositions, known as Mushairas. Many people attend these Mushairas to relieve themselves off their stress and indulge in a soul satisfying experience.
